I purcahsed 10 units of an item, specifically because it was listed as well… the item I was looking for.
I finally received the items; turns out that is not the item at all. It’s the same type of item, but completely different (different brand, different image, different function, etc.)
I messaged the seller, letting them know, supposing it was a simple mixup. I sent pictures. They don’t seem to care and just said they would update it later, and told me to send the items back to them. I’m certain this is not an issue of a mixup at the warehouse, because not all of the units came from the same warehouse.
I feel bad now, because I need to send these back (as it’s not at all what I want or need), but it just means someone else is going to get the same thing…
I have never reported a seller, or anyone really… but this just isn’t cool… if they had at least said “I’m going to update that”, I wouldn’t care. But the fact that they’re just going to keep selling these knowing it’s incorrect, doesn’t sit easy with me. is there a way to handle this? Reaching out to amazon customer service is obviously useless and nothing will happen. I’m also worried what will happen when I return so many units, as amazon is known for flagging accounts that return a lot in a single month. Unfortunately, everything I purchased was as an accessory to this one item, so it all has to go back.
