HELP – Adding a new brand to a seller account

Hi guys. I have an old amazon seller account with a brand registered to it that is inactive. I don’t care about the old brand and would like to start a new brand but the inactivity of the old brand is causing limitations on my seller page. Are there any pros to resolving these limitations and starting the new brand on this old seller account or should I not waste my time and make a new seller account and register the new brand on there.
