Hey Amazon sellers,
I have a question about MAP policies and potential consequences. What’s the worst-case scenario if I don’t adhere to a small brand’s MAP policy? Currently, I have inventory sitting in an FBA warehouse for two months because several sellers aren’t following the MAP. I’m considering breaking the policy and selling below it. The worst consequence I can foresee is potentially not being able to work with that brand anymore. Can brand report to Amazon for the MAP violation?
Furthermore, I’m also at the point where I’m done dealing with that particular brand, especially since they’re recruiting more sellers who may not follow MAP either. But I’m curious, what about Amazon? Could violating MAP policies affect my Amazon account or have other repercussions?
