Cannot sell our book – Amazon support is useless, what do I do?

We publish a children’s book last Tuesday. Everything was all setup and ready to go, support said it will be available on launch day. It is a week later and the item still shows as unavailable. I have a FBA listing, and they have stock in the warehouse, but this is “stranded” apparently. I also have a listing which is fulfilled by us, that also does not work.

Going through the help it says “Your listing’s ASIN is missing the ‘Item Type Keyword’ attribute.” I have been in circles several times with support over this. In the end they always say it is an error, the product is assigned, and I can ignore it.

I have no idea what to do now, they are just saying the same things over and over. We had a whole launch for the book planned but they messed that up, it is really disappointing.

Anyone have any experience with this or any suggestions as to how to get it fixed? As Amazon seller first timers we have no idea.
