How to calculate returns?
Hi, I have an example here is it correct calculated?
- Product Price on Amazon: 22,99€
- Product Costs (Manufacturing + Shipping to Amazon): 5,64€
- VAT: 3,67€
- Amazon Fees (15%): 3,45€
- Amazon Shipping to customer: 3,32€
- Amazon Storage Fee: 0,08€
- Returns: (Sold 246, got 31 returns): 1,20€
- Ads: 0€
Profit = 5,63€ / 24,49%
I am not sure if I have calculated the returns right? I have calculated so:
- (Manufacturing + Shipping to Amazon): 5,64€
- + Amazon Shipping costs: 3,32
- + Amazon Storage Fee: 0,08€
- + Amazon return fee: ~ 0,50€
- Total cost per refund: 9,54€ / 31 from 246 are 12,6% and 12,6% from 9,54€ are 1,2€
So in total for 246 sold units:
- 5655,54€ revenue
- – 5,64*246 = 1387,44€ Product Costs (Manufacturing + Shipping to Amazon):
- – 3,67*246 = 902,82€ VAT
- – 9,54*31 = 295,74€ Refunds
- 3,45+3,32+0,08 = 6,85*246 = 1648,20€ total Amazon Fees
- = 1421,34€ / 25,12%
Is my calculation correct? Or am I missing something
