Luckily, I asked the Chinese freight forwarder what would happen if they lost my package. They are not liable. Is this typical? I don’t want to have to worry about this type of situation bit at the same time, I would rather not purchase expensive insurance if possible. Right now, this is for shipments from China to the USA. Who do I negotiate these terms with? I don’t want to be responsible for anything until the package arrives at my front door.
