Update on A-Z appeal after item was delivered late. Buyer still keeps item AND refund.
I posted on this sub a while ago regarding a customer that received a refund for an international order which didn’t arrive in time. The item was delivered late but I received a defect and the buyer received a full refund.
I appealed the case and I’ve had the defect dropped but the email explains the buyer is still entitled to a full refund.
How is this legal? The item just wasn’t delivered on time, it was around the time of Royal Mail strikes AND the Christmas period. Amazon gives me about 7 days to deliver from UK to France, I don’t understand how this is possible and how the buyer is allowed to keep the item AND a full refund.
