Buyer has opened a return for “better price available” on a new, sealed video game sold on 7th December. Amazon has auto accepted and charged me a returns label… can I fight this?

This seems ridiculous. Surely with this policy, anybody can just abuse buying brand new video games on Amazon? Buy a game on release, play it for a month, return it as “better price available”?

Well of course there will be a better price available now… it’s a month after the release date?

I haven’t received the return yet but I can almost guarantee it will be returned used/opened.

Also, the audacity of Amazon charging ME a returns label (which is inflated compared to the actual cost of posting a 100g Large Letter video game). If the game didn’t arrive or was faulty, then fine. but how can they justify charging a seller just because they found a better price elsewhere, exactly 1 month after purchase?
