Why is Amazon withholding PERTINENT educational Seller Central information? USA based to sell into USA

I’ve gone through a handful of Amazon’s own educational resources now. Even the one that states you need you bank account, business address, tax number, etc etc….. Thanks to my early studies I KNOW THERE IS WORD ON THE STREETS that it is not that easy.

I have continually heard about something called ADDRESS VERIFICATION for the process of setting up an Amazon Seller account….. The fact that I haven’t heard AMAZON THEMSELVES mention it once in the information I have gather from them thus far leads me to believe they are purposefully withholding IMPORTANT material information.

Does anyone know where I can find this information on the ADDRESS VERIFICATION…. I’m not very happy with Amazon for keeping this information hidden. It tells me there up to something else….
