Why do some listings have multiple Amazon Warehouses as sellers?

For example, This listing has 8 Amazon Warehouse sellers. What does this mean? Are these the products of some hijackers who tried to list on this listing but got removed by the owner? The brand of this listing is Non-Trademarked so how can the seller remove other sellers from the listing?
