Will Amazon cancel an order if I don’t mark it as dispatched within 7 days?

The email that comes through when I make a sale says “After you ship the order, return to your seller account to confirm shipment. If you do not confirm shipment of the order within 7 days, Amazon will cancel the order, and you will not receive payment for it.” even though my processing time for this item is 12 days and on the website itself it says the ship-by date is 12 days after the order date. Do I need to mark it as dispatched before 7 days passes or is that email just a generic message which doesn’t apply to this case?
