Tracking on items under $10 what to do?

So I’m pretty new to Amazon as a seller.. my sales have been pretty good so far with my low ticket items and free shipping, I’m the best priced on there, but my tracking rate was putting my account in danger as I was not putting tracking on my free shipped items (it wouldn’t make economical sense).

So I have added a shipping fee to fix this and include tracking with all orders.. I’m still the cheapest and getting the featured offer but my sales have declined almost to zero i the 2 days since I’ve done that.

What should one do in this scenario, my products were getting delivered super quick and feedback has been good but is there anyway around this tracking rate? It makes no sense for low ticket items and now it’s killing my sales it seems.
