Authorization to sell books?

Forgive my stupidity here. I have a lot of used books that would be good sellers on Amazon. I went through the process of signing up and setting myself is as an FBA seller (and got charged the $40) and the moment I went to input my first product, I was told I wasn’t authorized to sell the book. It’s obvious I am missing something, but I’m not sure what it is. I immediately switched to a regular un-professional account until I can sort it out. Do I need to start as a seller-fulfilled account selling books? Or sell something else first? How do I get authorization to sell books? Or was it that particular publishing house that raised alarms? (Oxford Press, maybe it falls under a textbook or something?)
