Can you use the same parent ASIN from country to country?

And if so, how?

I am trying to create a parent in a marketplace country that is not my primary marketplace using an ASIN already established in my primary marketplace country. I am using the “Sell Globally” tool, which pushes over ASINs from my primary marketplace country but does not push over the parents of the listing. I am trying to create a parent for the children that are pushed over, but when ever I try to create a parent using the ASIN that generated for the parent on my primary marketplace country a new, unique parent ASIN is generated. Is there anyway to create a parent for existing listings, in a marketplace that is not my primary country, and use the same ASIN as my primary country marketplace’s parent ASIN? I primarily want to do this for ease of analysis purposes, to compare sales for a parent across multiple country marketplaces.
