1500 variants – most effective way to list this product?

I am attempting to list a product that I produce and sell currently on my own.

This product has tons of unique customization to it but every time that I attempt to list it, I receive an error that amazon “can’t process the request at the moment.” This is due to me attempting to upload 1500 variants at once. I’ve dimmed it down to 500 variations which it allowed me to upload.

50 “Style” variants 10 “Color” variants

I want to add more color customization to this product because that’s the whole idea around it but amazon locks the option to add new color variations once the listing has been published. There’s no other categories that allow me to have both “style” and “color” variations together.

ERROR MESSAGE: “The variation theme you selected previously is no longer available in this category. You can still edit existing variations, but you cannot add a new variation.”

For those who are experienced, would it be more effective to have all styles & colors under one listing, or should I make 50 unique listings to achieve the customization that I want to do. I’m considering the listings ranking, etc. for the future, and it’d be nice if it was all in once place.
