“Coupon Party”?

Hey peoples. I launched my store a couple weeks ago and it’s going fairly well so far. 30+ units sold, running ads and have converted a handful of buyers where revenue is exceeding cost of the ads. Cautiously optimistic I’m doing it right for now…
I got a call today from an account manager/business development rep who wants to “help me get more exposure”. He mentioned a “coupon party” happening now for the next week, where any seller participating in the coupon program will be listed specifically on a coupon special page highlighting certain sellers. He also mentioned I have a $50 coupon credit to use.
I’ve been in sales my whole career so I’m no stranger to sales tactics. I looked and saw minimum spend for coupons is $100, so even with the credit I have to pay out of pocket.
Questions:
1.) Has anyone participated in Coupon Parties? Any success?
2.) Thoughts on coupons overall? My ads are delivering, I have over 18K impressions, not sure how effective coupons would be to add to my sales
3.) How much do you trust/partner with reps from Amazon who are trying to “help” us? Ie upsell…
It’s a little fishy to me, but I’d also be willing to throw a little test cash at it if people think it works. I’ve had the help of a mentor with my store so I’m fairly confident the rest of my tactics are working so far.
