This feels all so conveniently timed. Product which I’ve been sending in 5-10 items at a time and selling out quite quickly. It’s not massively profitable, about £5 per item. Secured a deal with supplier to get it cheaper in bulk (50 items). Sent them into FBA. Amazon has not had stock for months. The DAY the UPS delivery arrives at Amazon, Amazon are now selling it for £17.99. Obviously I’ve not had a single sale since. I would take a loss at £17.99.
This happens often. It’s ALWAYS when I send in my biggest shipment, a competitor (or Amazon) also starts selling and undercutting massively. Amazon isn’t my main platform but when I see hundreds of ads a day from so called influencers claiming huge FBA profits, I really wonder HOW when this sh*t happens weekly.
EDIT: Forgot to also mention, I’ve had two refunds initiated already. Most likely as Amazon are now selling it cheaper!
