Account Verification issue
We are US company and has been on Amazon for a few years. We expanded to UK market place last year. In July, we were asked to provide information to complete the account verification. It took us quite some effort as we are not familar with the process. The problem is mostly with the address we are using. The company registration address has been my home address as we started from my home office. Now we have different address for business and all bank statement etc has been sent to the new address. We have been using my home address for everything including seller central account information. However, the bank statement carrying the company’s name is with the new address. Now account verification failed citing mismatching address information. I am wondering if I can just change the seller central address to be the new address (not my home address)? That will match the bank statement we have. However, I am concerned maybe it will trigger more or other problems as the registration address is still my home address. Or they don’t care about the registration address at all and can be anything? This thing has been going on for a month already and our selling right has been suspended (another thing to complain).
