Amazon Professional Account Made me Give them My SSN instead of my EIN – Why? (Single Member LLC)

So this doesn’t make a lot of sense. I can see where it would make sense to Amazon because that’s what they want to do and what they want to see.

I am setting up my bookwork so include the Amazon sales and everything in the SINGLE MEMBER LLC… The sales are made under the LLC….. Why is Amazon making me use my SSN and how am I going to keep the books for that if they are going to make me file that on taxes by way of a completely different form other than filing it on my yearly taxes to the EIN of the LLC?????

Very weird. The only thing I know to do is subtract whatever Amazon pays me from the proper amount that the EIN made and then make that EIN show the loss I guess… Why do they have to be hard about this stuff? I’m sure they have their own reason. Please, no answers that say reach out to an accountant…. Thank-you.
