Trying to sell used books… am I doing this wrong?

About a decade ago, I offloaded about 40-50 used books I owned through Amazon without difficulty. Now I need to do the same thing again. I have an Amazon Seller account set up, but EVERY book I want to sell says “approval required.” Most of these books aren’t textbooks, so I can’t imagine it’s the “fakebook” block Amazon has for college textbooks. Am I missing something simple?

Note: I sent off an approval request yesterday, and Im guessing it takes time to process it, but is that something I have to do for each book? Based on my estimated “profit margin” after shipping, Im rapidly approaching break-even struggling with this app and approval process. I just want to clear off a couple bookshelves. I didn’t realize the bar would be set so high for a “casual” seller now.
