Getting good product photos seems to be a hassle. Would you use AI?
Have been researching how brands solve the problem of getting high-quality product photos on the regular. Finding so far that the current way is either, i) hours of DIY, or ii) getting a freelance photographer/agency — both seem to be a bit of a time sink.
Have also found that for freelance photographers it can be anywhere between $200-$4,000 per month depending on quality, your niche, etc. Spoke to one brand that’s paying the higher end of that range every fortnight, which is nuts to me.
Have been tinkering with using AI over the past few months and the results have actually been really good. Will caveat this with the fact that it depends on the product; the only thing it doesn’t do well is products with text.
Would you use something like this if it worked?
