Australian sellers – how do you scan auspost tracking labels?

I’m trying to find a solution to scanning Australia post’s “parcel post” stickers into ShipStation. When you scan them, the barcode has a handful of numbers either side of the actual tracking number that need to be manually backspaced. Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a solution to a barcode scanner that can be customised to automatically backspace a certain number of characters?
