Creating an Amazon listing for a new product with a brand I don’t own

Hey,

I’m looking to create new listings on Amazon Australia for products that aren’t currently being sold, with brands that aren’t currently registered on Amazon.

I have multiple brands I’m trying to sell in categories that aren’t restricted.

I don’t own these brands, just looking to try retail arbitrage and resell products.

Some of the brands are phantom brands (from Aldi) and some are just smaller not well known brands I’ve picked up products for cheaply. I beleive most of the brands are trademarked.

Is this possible or am I infringing on others trademarks?

When addressing error code 5665 “Request approval for -brand name- The brand name that you have entered has not been approved by Amazon.” Am i allowed to request approval for this product without being the brand owner?

Getting mixed results when looking through seller academy and other info sources.

It was my understanding that retail arbitrage was allowed on Amazon but I could be mistaken.
