Sharing Bank Account Info with Amazon Seller Support?

I have a new Amazon seller account. I was setting up my deposit info (institution nb, transit nb, and account nb) but was receiving an error. When I contacted Amazon seller support, it took them a while to actually put me in contact with an agent, not a machine.

When they did, he asked me for the info itself (account nb and such). Is it safe to share such info? I know companies usually make it a point that you should never share sensitive info to an agent, so I’m double checking.

Note that this is on their website, so it can’t be a random scammer.
