Professional Seller Account Using my Actual Name under the “Seller Details” – Single Member LLC – How Have you Stopped That Info from going out?
So I’m new to the Amazon selling stuff. I have a professional Selling Account and I am a single member LLC in my state. I told Amazon what the real name of my business was but Amazon seems to put my actual personal name in the wide open when any prospective user clicks on seller details.
Does anyone know how to stop this? What did you do? This doesn’t seem right for Amazon to do.
My instincts says that this has to do with the Tax Interview questions and the fact that Amazon “thinks” a single member LLC needs to put their own personal name and number into those fields. I am thinking about putting my company name and the EIN of the company in that tax interview thing because I do not believe Amazon is right on that one anyways. The IRS already knows the business is a pass through entity if it’s a single member llc, that should have any effect on what Amazon tries to make people put right there.
Any ideas? Thanks
