Copying high volume products

I recently saw a portable tire inflator that’s selling 7k units per month. No branding, just generic labeling and coming from a foreign factory.

What could go wrong if I took 10k, hired a high end product designer, ordered a small batch of units and tried to directly compete with this listing. Also, what if I created a slick video ad and tried to do dtc with fb ads.

It seems like a stupidly simple opportunity. What am I missing.
