Does Amazon Allow Updating or changing EIN for Seller Account?

I am setup as a single-member LLC with a given EIN, but will be adding members to the LLC. This will change the tax status in the US, and therefore I will need to get a new EIN number for my business.

Has anyone had experience with updating EIN number, or changing it via Amazon Seller Support? I do not want to risk losing the existing profile and product history.
