Account restricted because of Japan Marketplace – UK seller

Hi, really looking for some advice as I keep going round in circles with support.

A week or 2 ago I got an email out of the blue saying our account had been restricted because of a duplicate account being found. I clicked the link and saw it was on the .com US marketplace which we have but never use. I thought that it didn’t matter so ignored it. we are a LTD company with 1 account so assumed it wouldn’t effect us as we don’t use the US marketplace.

Few days later I get an email saying our Amazon account has been fully restricted, the FBA inventory is stranded and all our listings have been taken down. After a bit of investigation it turns out that the Japan marketplace for some reason has a slightly different seller name, without old address which we left 3 years ago.

Called support who advised that we need to speak with the Japan Amazon marketplace to get verified first before they can unrestricted our UK account.

The Japan marketplace in the UK is impossible to speak to via email phone or email appeal it doesn’t work, phone says they don’t speak English so we cannot put a mobile number for a call, email gets insta rejected and advises it’s not the correct way to appeal.

Going via account health and translating the page it suggests they need the following documents:

Business licence – not required in the UK have submitted 3 different licences which the business holds from official bodies

Utility bills. Water,gas, electricty- this is provided by our serviced building, I have submitted the invoice from our building which we pay but they will not accept this as it is not direct with the utility provider.

Landlines/internet Again broadband is provided by the building for free, we have 2x giffgaff mobile sim only plans, and a VOIP phone, I have submitted months of these documents but still it’s being rejected.

I have sent Bank statements Credit card statements Companies house info

And we have now been rejected 5 times, I have spoken with support in the UK AFTER A LOT OF PUSHING. and they have opened up an internal case although expect it will not go anywhere.
