Heads Up to My Fellow Amazon Sellers About a Serious Issue
I’ve got something important to share with you all, and I think it’s something we need to take action on together.
So here’s the deal: I came across this subreddit, r/illegallifeprotips2, and, frankly, what I saw was pretty alarming. This place is a hub for folks sharing tips on how to scam Amazon sellers. We’re talking about buying all sorts of stuff – electronics, home goods, clothes – and then claiming it never showed up to snag a refund.
I couldn’t just scroll past this. I decided to post there, trying to get through to these people. I told them straight up that their ‘little tricks’ are actually hitting us – the small business owners – really hard. The reactions? Well, it was a mixed bag. Some people were like, “Don’t care, will steal anyway,” but others seemed genuinely surprised. They thought they were pulling one over on big ol’ Amazon, not realizing it’s actually us on the other end.
But here’s the kicker – my post got deleted. It’s like they don’t even want to acknowledge the harm they’re causing.
So, what I’m asking you all is this: Could we band together on this? Maybe if more of us post similar messages or report the subreddit, we can make a bigger impact. We need to spread the word that it’s small businesses taking the hit from these scams, not just some faceless corporation.
Thanks for hearing me out. Let’s try and make a difference here.
