USPS miss delivered, should I tell the customer where it was delivered?
I send a package with USPS and it showed the package was delivered but the customer couldn’t find it. With the help of my local post office I was able to find out where it was delivered and it was indeed miss delivered by USPS.
The customer has already put in a request to Amazon about the order. I responded with the carrier info and tracking number which shows that it was delivered.
Should I contact the customer to let them know where it got delivered or just let Amazon handle it? I did use Amazon Buy Shipping (via VeeQo) so I should be protected but I don’t want to end up liable for trying to help.
I have also opened a missing mail request with USPS.
