I’m trying to perform a partial update using excel and typing ASIN in the Product ID Type results in an invalid error. Why is that?

When I go to the valid values tab and check Product ID Type, ASIN is one of those accepted. I can paste ASIN from clipboard but it results in a warning. Typing it down is not accepted. Should I ignore this or am I missing something?
