Amazon deactivated my account and I don’t know what to do
I just received an email from Amazon stating that they have deactivated my account. Their reasoning for why doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. I have yet to sell anything as I have been in the process of creating my shipment.
I have been inactive for the past two weeks due to work, would inactivity be a reason for them deactivating my account? I have not done anything shady and am not doing drop shipping. Since I have yet to even sell anything would it be better to just scrap this whole account and restart the whole process and sell my products that I already have on a new account? Or would it be more worthwhile to try and salvage this? Please help I am at a loss at what to do.
This is what they said:
“Hello ,
Your Amazon.com seller account has been deactivated, and your listings have been removed. Ship any open orders to avoid further impact on your account. After 90 days of receiving this notification, you may request a fund disbursement by contacting disbursement-appeals@amazon.com.We will conduct a separate investigation to evaluate your account, and if we find that you have engaged in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, abused our system, or repeatedly violated our policies that protect our customers and selling partners, we may withhold some or all of the funds in your account.
Why is this happening? We were unable to verify information related to your seller account or did not receive any new information regarding your listings or selling history.”
