Transitioned my Account from Personal to LLC w/ Partners – I’d like to launch a solo operation
Hey everyone,
In 2020 I began exploring e-commerce in the form of eBay and Amazon. Although I had success on both, I stuck to eBay and left Amazon on the backburner. In 2023, I decided to revisit Amazon and (long story short) launched an LLC with 2 other equal partners. In doing so, I transitioned my once personal/sole-prop Seller account into a business LLC account now.
We’ve done excellent for our first year and it is a pleasure working on Amazon overall. However, as I source, there are products that I’d like to take advantage of selling that aren’t suitable for our collective account.
I’d love to launch an independent store separate from the shared LLC under a different LLC where I have 100% ownership. The store would not sell any of the same products, but I don’t want to violate or cause any other issues with Amazon Seller Central.
Is there any way I can go about this without violating any rules?
