Using Send to Amazon and no longer need freight forwarder?

In the new Send to Amazon workflow, in the first step, you set your Ship From address. If you set this to your manufacturer address in China for pickup, will they cover end-to-end logistics? Where does Amazon Global Logistics fit into this? Seems incredibly easy, but I have not found anything that explicitly says this and it seems like it would be a big deal…
