Expansion to sell in other countries

I am an amazon seller who mainly sells in italy and have recently started selling in spain as well (initially without VAT number). Amazon used to ship units from Italy to Spain for every purchase from a Spanish customer. The shipment took about 6 days.

So we decided to do Spanish VAT. After entering it in the seller central and after verification, we enabled the PAN-EU so that our products in the Italian FCs are also partly moved to the Spanish FCs. In this way, Spanish customers can benefit from faster shipping and especially with amazon prime.

The problem, however, is that going to my listings, the shipping time remained the same, i.e. 6 days. It seems that amazon is not moving the units to Spanish FCs.

Has this happened to you too? Is there something I’m missing that I should enable?
