Help selling minimum risk pesticide (Exempt from EPA regulation). Amazon will not recognize exemption.
We sell a all natural insect repellent that falls under the minimum risk pesticide classification. Meaning it does not require EPA regulation. The active ingredient is Citronella.
The product got removed by amazon claiming, it is not exempt and requires an EPA registration number. We have followed all the EPA’s requirements for the exempt product including:
provide percentages of all active ingredients on label. placing inert ingredients on label. Company address and phone number on label. No false claims, etc.
In our appeal, we also provide amazon with all the codes, etc. from the EPA for the exempt ingredients. Amazon also requires pictures of labels in the listing. Does anyone know if they require real world images of the label? Or is just a photoshop image of the label fine? We have done the latter.
This is our best seller and is homemade by myself and my wife. With summer coming up it is really a bummer that this product is taken down. Looking for any help.
