Amazon FBM shipping stats i compiled.

I ran these calc’s as amazon has made my listings like 14 day transit time which is very annoying.

For example i ship nearly all my stuff usps ground advantage or priority mail. the better results are priority and the bad ones are ground advantage.

Here are 6 ASINS. total sample size here is 200 orders.

Here are the shipping times in days.

There are 6 rows each row corresponds to an different ASIN / product line.

Column 1 is the 95th percentile transit time in days.

Column 2 is the 68th percentile.

Column 3 is the Standard deviation.

Column 4 is the arithmetic mean.

As you can see the shipping times are no near close to what USPS advertises. They advertise a 5 day delivery. While this may be the average time, the 95th percentile time is closer to 10-15 days.
