Place Variations (colors) In Trash Bags Inside Box to Send to Fulfillment Center FBA

I’m sending 8 color variations of a product in a single box. Can/should I place the different variations in separate trash bags so that it won’t get mixed up? I don’t know how the fulfillment center operation works. I was talking to another FBA seller and they said quite a few of their variations didn’t get scanned correctly and the inventory count is off. I just want to avoid that. Or should I just put them in and trust the process? It’s been labeled and packaged in the proper poly bag.
