Jumping through hoops

Why does Amazon make you jump through so many hoops?

I made a product that is not listed on Amazon, it is a custom product. Already got a GSIN barcode and got approval to sell the brand on Amazon. But now to get an ASIN Amazon needs me to get approval to sell under the brand that I just created and got approval for.

Anyone else have this issue?
