Getting ready to start the journey, I have a few questions.
I am new to all selling anything through Amazon, really, any ecommerce. I have made myself a goal of profiting $200 after all my product has been sold. I have started the process of doing research and finding out which products I’m most passionate about and what I can afford to start with. My investment amount is $1000. I have not signed up as a reseller yet because I don’t have any inventory to sell yet. I am looking for the simpliest answers to my questions below, as I am dyslexic and have to read things 200 times before I understand anything. I like to keep things simple and expand to improve when I grow more into this.
Is my $1000 start up amount decent to make a $200 dollar ROI? I’m currently looking into bath towels as a starting product, is this a good product to start with, to get my feet wet? Are there any other niches that I should consider? What are some questions I should ask people on Alibaba when inquiring about any products? Boxing items, I am so lost on this. I need to make sure they are packed and barcoded, who does this? does the vendor I order from do this for me? Or maybe provide me with a more simple way to understand how this works I am going to be doing FBA since I do not have the means to drive whenever an order is placed. Can someone provide me with a better explanation how this works. If I have the product delivered to my house, do they come get it or do I still need to bring it to UPS or whatever?
I did read what I could understand off amazon, but it’s overwhelming for me, so I chose to get some helpful responses here. I will have more questions to ask, but lets just start with this.
