To sell as private person or as business? FBM

Hello, everybody.

Long story short;

We are producing a physical, hand made object. We are interested in putting our product up for sale on amazon.com. It’s a small and light product and we’ve decided to start with FBM because we don’t know how well the sales will go. It feels safest to start with FBM.

Our question is: Is it more beneficial for small/new seller to register as business account or just a casual/private seller? We do have a registered business but we were wondering if there is any pros or cons to which kind of seller account we choose. Mind you, we’ve not made amazon account yet because we understand that for new accounts there are some bonuses, so we didn’t want to waste those, yet. Because of this we dont really know what are our options any ways.

Hope I didn’t make it too confusing. We’re located in Northern Europe if that’s any significant detail.
