Account deactivation because I used a friends card
It’s been 5 months since my Amazon account has been deactivated. This came after my friend asked me to order an item for them using their credit card. They had a seller account a few years ago get deactivated for an inauthentic claim on sneakers that was never able to get resolved, even with hiring professional help. So because I used their credit card to make an Amazon purchase, my acccount got flagged and deactivated with no warning.
“You have a separate account [friends old account name] that was enforced for violating one of our policies. As a result, you may no longer use the [my account name] selling account to sell on Amazon.com”
I hired professional help and Amazon has not budged at all. My stranded inventory has been sent back to me, my account balance drained due to storage fees and removal fees. So there’s no money I’ll be retaining from that. I’ve been a full time seller for 5 years. Thankfully I have savings that I have been surviving with but that will not last forever. It’s finally hitting me that I have to move on and completely start my life over. My credit has also taken a hit because I cannot pay for my business credit cards if there is no business to have cash flowing. It it a hard pill to swallow. Amazon was a fun ride but it’s very disheartening how they treat small businesses. Not sure what else to do but I just wanted to vent.
