Brand registration & trademark GTIN

Hello,

i am applying for a trademark. I read videos showing that you should apply for brand approval first, then do brand registry. Is this correct?

When I register as a brand when im making my shop, do I need to still apply for GTIN exception? I thought if you had a trademark you don’t need exceptions – but do you need to still send pictures of every single product you list??
