Private Label-Brand Registered-what do we put as model number and manufacturer when listing?

Hi Friends,

We have done everything needed to get on the rails for FBA. Incorporated, due diligence in product research and sourcing, brand registry/trademark etc.

Our initial orders are making their way to us from Chinese manufacturers and I am creating the outlines of listings in add products.

My question is-I am (apparently) exempt from using a GTIN for the three initial products as it did not make us “apply to sell”. Since we are private label and brand registered do we make up our own model number and list our company as the manufacturer? Even though we technically are having our products manufactured in China?

If not if we use the actual manufacturer model number will this get lumped in with other people who may be potentially selling from the same supplier?

Everything has gone swimmingly but GTIN/barcode/model number with private label is making my head hurt a little.
