Can I send in product to FBA if the storefront is a frickin’ mess?
I’m trying to add a new product with 4 variations to my storefront. First, the variations all came out with the wrong images– even though in the edit page the images were right, on the listings they were all wrong. Customer support told me to just start over. I created a new product listing and did it all over again, and the images are now right BUT the variations are not all appearing on the same product page, and I am waiting for customer support to respond with that problem (I guess only Amazon ads lets you actually talk to someone on the phone.)
At the same time, my brand, that was registered, has reverted back to my old brand name, which was denied last week (I switched from brand name #1 to brand #2). So I have half of all the listings or account names saying one brand, half saying another, and the customer support at Amazon ads saying they only see the first name, which was authortatively DENIED by Amazon. So I had to go through and re-submit the brand registry, which really confused them, because they immediately closed the support case, thinking I had fixed it by re-doing the brand application. I don’t know when was the last time I felt this level of frustration and anger. They really have us by the balls.
But this isn’t my question. My question is, while I work to resolve all of this, can I send in an FBA shipment, confident that as long as it has the right barcode, it won’t get all mixed up in this disaster? If I send it in now, it will take 2 weeks + to get registered, and I am hoping it will all be worked out by then?
If the UPC is officially attached to an ASIN, am I safe to send in the merchandise? Thanks.
