Vendor central issue

We upload products for past 11 years with vendor central. You have to have upcs. You used to be able to buy the rights to make upcs. So I bought upc from a company called speed barcode. They offered a upc service. I was paying 15 cents a piece, I’ve bought 11k of them over the past 20 years. As of late amazon has joined the board of GS1. The national board of upc. And they sell them and Amazon are rejected other upc and making you buy from them. Now they want to charge me 7$ per upc plus a 150$ renewal per year. That’s outrageous. 50x the cost. Speedybarcode is working with me to try and bypass it not sure if it’s gonna work.

Here’s the problem. There’s a method for uploading your inventory, go to GS1 purchase upc’s, put in spreadsheet, get issued a certificate, upload to Amazon and Amazon should accept it. We’re all having problems with Amazon accepting them right now for some random reason, however mine haven’t been accepted for 2 or 3 weeks. We’ve opened a case and provided all the issues. We’re being crippled right now. How do we fix this?

We have paid GS1, its supposed to take 48 hours, but instead it’s been weeks. I know how to open cases, respond, work the system, escalate, repeat repeat repeat, but it’s not working this time. I’m dead in the water.

Is anyone having this same problem of Amazon still not accepting upc after using GS1 and following all the steps with a certificate and a letter of a proof of affiliation (POA). I’m stuck.
