(First item sold) Manual Shipping or Amazons methods

Hello I would kindly appreciate any advice on what to recommend to use for shipping two pencil cases, shipping from NY to Puerto Rico. Would it be recommend to use USPS services or Amazons shipping service? I went through the videos in seller university and still feel apprehensive which to decide on.
