Same Brand, Multiple Spellings Of The Brand Name and Letters of Authorization
I work for a local music retail store. We sell our inventory on Amazon. One of the brands we sell are Jim Dunlop (guitar picks, etc).
Many of my Jim Dunlop listings are inactive because the brand name I have supplied (Jim Dunlop) doesn’t match the brand that many ASINs are attached to. For instance, there are Jim Dunlop related brands in my listings that include:
Jim Dunlop Dunlop JIM DUNLOP Jim Dunlop Guitar Picks
How can there be so many different brand names for the same brand? I’m looking to apply for brand approval from Jim Dunlop so that I can refute Amazon’s warning that I am using the wrong brand in my listings. But, am I going to have to get a brand approval for every variation of the brand I find?
This is incredibly frustrating.
