Amazon Mexico steals money from me, don’t know what to do :(
For years now – I am a Canadian seller and only have the Canada store. Every now and then at complete random my bank account would be charged by Amazon Mexico, sometimes for $10 ish, sometimes more like $50. I’ve opened a dozen cases and they always transfer me to another department who then never follow up. I’ve dealt with it by filing a fraud claim with my bank, who then refund me the money after s couple of weeks. It’s been incredibly stressful but at least I always eventually get the stolen money back.
Now they have amalgamated the payments so if I have a positive balance in my Canada store it doesn’t matter because Mexico is negative. It doesn’t even hit my bank account because they’re taking the money directly from my Amazon account. I sell a book, pay for the shipping, and make $0 from Amazon because of the fraudulent Mexico charges. I will have to close my store now I guess, I just am reaching out here as a last attempt at getting some advice. Even if I close my account right now, they will owe me hundreds of dollars I’ll never get back. Any assistance is very appreciated.
