Amazon rejecting every ID I upload. How do I fix this?

I’m an occasional very small seller on Amazon. I recently got an email that I had to submit information to get my account reactivated. I used a bank statement and driver’s license. Apparently the latter was rejected. I’ve tried numerous photos and scans (jpg, pdf) of both sides of my license and each time I get the “invalid document” error when I try to upload. I also receive the error :Provided information needs correction. The information entered does not match the submitted document. Please update provided information and resubmit.”

I’ve confirmed that my driver license number and other pieces of information are correct. Seeking help from Amazon was not fruitful; their policy is that they cannot provide the reason that a document is invalid.

Any ideas on how to get past this?
